As the Head of Online and Digital Learning at Falmouth University, I oversee academic leadership, operational management, and the business performance of online programs. I also lead the digital learning staff supporting technology-enhanced learning.

Throughout my career, I've played a key role in shaping national policy and framework reforms, impacting universities globally. I've led the development of a sector-wide theme on leadership and culture in higher education and transformed the Digital Leaders Programme at Jisc. These actions have benefited over 400 senior leaders in further and higher education. Additionally, I've contributed significantly to implementing the HEA Framework and UKPSF worldwide, alongside reforming national policies. These efforts have positively impacted over 192+ HE institutions in the UK and globally.

I co-developed and led a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Review Service at Jisc, impacting 600+ academic staff, students, and support personnel. The resulting national report influenced the practices of university staff, enhancing the experience for thousands of global students.

I am also an accomplished keynote speaker, having presented at international conferences in the UK, USA, Germany, and South America.

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), sharing best practices in online learning approaches. 

University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2018, working with the Educational Enhancement Unit to implement the Higher Education Academy (HEA) framework and UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF).

Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, South America, providing digital transformation advice, guidance and workshops in 2020.

My education background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE), Masters in Online and Distance Education (MA ODE (Open), Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), as well as being a Professional Member of The Institute of Leadership and Management (InstLM).
